Winter Lake Music
is an on-line CD store for independent artists. We developed
this web site to provide independent artists with a presence on the
internet through which they can sell their CD's.
We encourage you to
explore Winter Lake Music.
The artists are chosen for
inclusion on this web site based on personal reviews by the editorial
board. We do not accept unsolicited CD's. We are building
a small community of friends whose music is from the heart.
All artists have a page hosted by Winter Lake
Music. Other artists also have their
own websites which contain more extensive information about the
artist. Please visit the independent web sites for news,
schedules, photos etc. All artists provide Real Audio samples so you can try
before you buy.
We encourage you to
explore Winter Lake Music. When you purchase a CD on Winter
Lake Music, you are directly supporting the independent artists.
We use a secure shopping cart system provided by Rich Media
Technologies. The software is called "Just Add
Commerce". It is a widely used system for small
businesses. You place your secure order on their secure server
and they then send us an
encrypted e-mail notification of your order. We then fulfill the
order. No one other than the Winter Lake Music staff can decrypt the
information you provide. Once the order is
fulfilled, no record of the transaction exists online.
We also accept payment in the form of
check, money order or cash. To pay in this way, please mail your order

Lake Music. CD's are mailed using the U.S. Postal Service.
A charge of $2 is applied for shipping and handling for the first CD
and .50 for each additional CD.
